CHOIR NEWS
Our new CD 'Summertime' will be launched at our concert on the 4th July. It features some of the 20th century’s most famous and well-loved songs by the likes of George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter and Richard Rogers and a selection of favourite spirituals. To order your own copy send us your name and address. The cost is £10 plus £1 postage and packing. Money raised from the sale of the CD will be used to support future concerts given by the choir.
We have a few vacancies for sopranos and basses and we’d love to hear from interested singers with good sightreading. We rehearse weekly on Thursday evenings. Contact us via our website.

ABOUT THE CHOIR
We are a choir of about 35 voices based in Epsom, Surrey where we give at least six major concerts each year, mostly in our regular venue of St Martin's Church. Our repertoire encompasses composers as different as 'Fats' Waller and Arvo Pärt and pieces that have just been written as well as the classics.
Amongst our many engagements we help the National Trust to raise funds at Clandon Park and from time to time sing Evensong in cathedrals such as St Paul's, Winchester, Southwark, Ely and, most recently, St Alban's in May 2009.
We also tour abroad. In May 2008 we visited Lille where we sang in the Cathedral of Notre Dame de la Treille.
The choir has won Enterprise Awards on three occasions from the Performing Right Society.
Epsom Chamber Choir, which was formed in 1969, is a Registered Charity number 1026721 and is affiliated to Making Music.
